“Hey Mr Genaro, I need your help,”

“Speak Snoopy,” he said.

“I need police uniforms for two, a police car, and a wanted poster describing that girl also telling people about the R100 000 reward for anyone helping us to find her. And make all that happen in an hour,” said Snoopy.

“An hour that’s impossible,” said Mr Genaro.

“You owe me a favour, remember,” said Snoopy.

“OK, OK I’ll make it happen,” replied Mr Genaro.

Within an hour all was sorted.

Just while watching Generations we heard footsteps outside the house. We looked through the window and I told aunty I thought it was them; the two men after me.

Aunty told my cousin to help me exit through the back door. And yes I made it with my cousin accompanying me.

“Good evening madam. Sorry to bother you so late. We are the police. We are looking for a girl of this description. She sells drugs and anyone helping us find her will get a R100 000 reward.” Said Snoopy.

“I’m very sorry. I haven’t seen her before,” said aunty.

“It’s OK madam. Here is our card with our phone numbers. If you see her or know her whereabouts contact us and you will get your rewarded,” said Snoopy.

“Okay,” replied aunty.

We stayed at the neighbour’s house until aunty called us when it was safe to come home. As we walked in aunty was staring at a card.

“Aunty, what is that? I asked. In reply she said, “Oh, you mean this? It’s nothing. Sit down so I can make tea for you,”

“No aunty. I think it’s time we go report this matter to the police. It’s really getting out of hand,” I said while standing near the door ready to go.

“No, no, Thando-lwami I dont think it’s safe to go out or do anything now. What if these men are watching us as we speak? I think you should go and rest I’ll see what I can do,”

“Okay aunty,” I said, though I had doubts in my heart but not knowing why. I prayed hard before I slept. I slept only a few hours. As I woke up I heard up and downs in the house. I was terrified. I walked slowly towards the door and opened the door slowly. I looked through the door and it wasn’t them, it was aunty. I walked towards aunty in the kitchen asking myself, why was she not sleeping?
