Approaching campus, her heart rate increased drastically. She wished she was born as a man, so that she wouldn’t have to face all the immoral attitudes that girls suffer at the hands of the wicked, unprofessional, and heartless administrators and teachers in Liberia and other parts of the world. After all, it wasn’t her fault that she was born as a girl. Her beauty was a special gift from God to her future husband and no one else. Not even the so-called principal that was tormenting her.
As she walked into the school yard, Mr. Washington, her principal, yelled out to her. “Jenny, I want to see you in my office immediately!” His voice sounded very annoying in her ear, but worst of all, his look was disgustingly pathetic. His bold eyes blinked up and down with what she suspected as mischief in the disguise of anger. But even then, she knew he had no right to get angry with her. At his age, she supposed he was married and he probably had children and a family. And even if he was single, she shouldn’t be his type. He was old enough to be her father! She would have preferred if he took on that role instead of tormenting and exploiting every teen he sets his eyes on, just so he can stick his merciless picker between their legs. She was young and had the right to fall in love with someone she chooses, and to not to be exploited by some old, wicked, heartless fool.
