Day in day out I strive hard to survive
The system only favours the bourgeoisie
While I sleep on an empty stomach
They throw away food in their homes everyday

My body is only half covered
The other part suffers the consequences
Of coldness in winter
And scorching heat in summer
The bourgeoisie calls it a modern fashion
Oooh the system is unfair

Day by day I go to school with an empty stomach
Only to be forced out of the class building
Making my mind too empty in academics
The system double punches me
It grabs my keys to the door of my success
