In my self-absorption I’ve shown myself a child.
In the body of a man whose inexperience is so apparent,
it is put on display.
Witnessed by all who see and hear,
self-love on gross levels and disregard
for the ones around the self.

I will do what I did today, take interest in others’ lives,
other than my own, take care of those around me as best I can,
as the results were astronomically profound,
compared to the self-esteeming blabbermouth,
that most turned to disregard or diss…
Who was the prime of my disgrace.
