I am pusillanimous and perturbed
Terrified and abashed, that is who I am in a strange place
Guilty and lonely
Nervous and neglected, that is me in a strange place
I wish I can go back to my home town
Here I’m feeling rejected
I am new in a strange place
I am a foreigner in a strange country
My surroundings are unfamiliar to me
People are so strange,
And some of them are xenophobic
No one I know here
I am isolated
I am a stranger in a phantasmagorical place
Forming amity would be vital
