Just say, thank you Lord
Don’t think you are too religious
Lest you forget the Lord is gracious

Lest your pompousness replace His grace
And mark the end of His mercy

COVID-19 is no joke
That you should think your fellows are not His flock
Just be thankful to His grace
That He has spared you this curse

Don’t be too proud
Is it funny that your friends are suffering?
Don’t be ridiculous
This pandemic is dangerous

Don’t be too proud
Just say a little prayer
If You are willing, oh Lord
Let this scourge pass me by

Don’t be too proud
It is a fairer pride
That sees its limitations,
Without an alarm.
