I wake to her weighted whisper
Passions convey the sound to my ear
Darkness: dwelling in mental hells, disappear.
The rhythm and melodies purge my fear.

I am left weak in thought
Her ways crack my stone heart
And leave my carnal animals caught.
My twin demon eyes meekly depart:

To a forest of dreams and beauty
Where her words are law
And where her love performs its duty
To mend the wound afflicted: demon claw.

All the pain in the universe dies
When my love reflects in her eyes.
