Scene Eleven

Dilen found Rhoda to tell her about the proposal.

Dilen: Rhoda, I want you to know that…that your kindness is now part of my conscience.

Rhoda: What do you mean by that, Dilen?

Dilen: Our marriage is around the corner. I won this beautiful world for us.

Rhoda: What? It’s not love that drives your madness, its loneliness.

Dilen: Sir Rone said I’m your freedom. Marry me on Sunday and free your life from the past.

Rhoda: I am sorry that you never knew before that I would rather be in love with you, than to spend the rest of my life under the arms of someone that I don’t love. If it is meant to happen then it will happen, I will marry you.

Dilen: Rate my looks and make me a better man.

Rhoda: I will rate your looks and make you a better man on Sunday, alright.

Dilen: When the world gets dark, I will disappear into the sunset with you.

Rhoda: Am I allowed to take a walk, alone?

Dilen: Yes, you are allowed to muscle your way to anywhere. Just be back on time.

She left him.

Scene Twelf

Back at Mr Rone’s house, prince Dii visited them as usual.

Mr Rone: My son, I am apologetic for what I’m about to say. I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive us. We have reached a conclusion. You’re no longer the type of person we need to see our daughter with. Not now and not in the future.

Mrs Rone: It will be a sin to see both of you together.

Prince Dii: Yesterday I was a blessing, today I look like a sin?

Mr Rone: “Mind your words. You just became a sin the moment you decided to think that you know my family better than I do. Don’t you know that what was never meant to be yours will never be yours?

Mrs Rone: Good luck in your search for gold.

Prince Dii: Name the price that can free your daughter, sir.

Mr Rone: You mean how much do I sell my daughter for?

Mrs Rone: Your part in her life is over. Please! Close the door behind you and never come back, if you know what is good for you.

Scene Thirteen

Back at the hideout, Rhoda meets Molyn along the way.

Rhoda: Do I own this jungle?

Molyn: No! You own something bigger than this jungle.

Rhoda: What is it?

Molyn: Open your eyes and live your life with your eyes open. For that you will see, that my heart is all yours.

Rhoda: My prob… (She started crying and tried to run away but Molyn stopped her)

Molyn: Rhoda, your dreams are my dreams. And your problems are my problems. Only God is going to make you and I realize that I am everything that you ever wanted.

Rhoda: The biggest ship in the world is sinking. With that, I mean that I am losing myself and everything that I ever wanted in my life.

Molyn: I was fortunate to know you! I just can’t let you go.

Rhoda: Do I look like your end?

Molyn: Yes! My love, for you can’t ever be measured by any instrument in this planet. The fear of losing someone you love, is not like the one of losing someone who you always dreamed to be with, the moment you realized that you are truly in love.

Rhoda: Molyn, I want you to rate me… let that rate be for the first time and for the last time.

Molyn: You deserve all numbers, every number that I know. Or maybe let me rate you. Close your eyes and start imagining yourself being in places where you have never been. (She closed her eyes…and Molyn started writing about her. He wrote this A woman who I always wanted to be with…, having soft hands, the hands that I only saw in my dreams. She looks exactly like the girl that…I will never afford to lose, the girl that God created specially, just for me. I am sure that what my eyes are showing me now will exist in me for a long time. If I did be wrong about her looks or the way I feel about her, forgive me, I am in love.) You can open your eyes (she opened her eyes). Tell me! What did you feel?

Rhoda: Everything that you wanted me to feel, everything.

Molyn: I want you to tell me exactly what you felt.

Rhoda: I felt everything that you wanted me to feel. I felt true love which is everything to you and me.

Molyn: I’m not perfect but you are my final step, you complete me. There is no woman who matches your kindness. You are my desire… the only person in this world who is turning my world around.

Rhoda: No matter what I’m about to do, I will never forget you. As long as I’m still alive, I won’t stop loving you.

Molyn: Promise me that I’m your final destination. True love is a gift of those who are persistent.

Rhoda: Nothing will stop me to love you, not even death or time.

Rhoda: I will be back to you, I swear. Just forget me not.

Scene Fourteen

(Dilen and Rhoda went back home. Her mother didn’t know about their secret marriage. She is now asking Rhoda if she truly wants to marry Dilen)

Mrs Rone: My daughter, are you sure that he is the one for you? Many people don’t realize that they are doing a mistake until they are mistaken.

Rhoda: “Only a few are lucky to be loved for real, mother, maybe I am one of them.

Mrs Rone: Only a few know the meaning of love, you are right.

Rhoda: (with a smile) I follow my heart. I seek love not in the brain. I know where to find it.

Mrs Rone: Are you telling me that your heart will give you everything that you ever wanted?

Rhoda: I don’t only follow my heart… I also follow my dreams. Nothing beats happiness.

Mrs Rone: Use your strength while you still have the effort. Time doesn’t play baseball, it goes on and on without looking back.

Rhoda: Mother, true love is a language of two people, who see themselves as winners, during good times and bad times. The ‘two’ who accept the way that they are, and with hearts that denote the stars. Who are they? Words will never be enough to define their bond.

Mrs Rone: Love is endless. Even after your death, love will still rock this world.

Rhoda: I’m not in the mood to prove a point. I‘m just trying to show someone that I can love him as much as he can love me. I’m being myself, can’t you see?

Mrs Rone: (shocked) Prepare yourself for tomorrow.

Rhoda: (shaking her head) I can’t wait for my freedom. Let me go and visit my room.

Rhoda left for her room.

Scene Fifteen

Mr Rone is now confused since Dilen failed to deliver the proposal.

Mr Rone: Don’t be a victim of misfortune before a day of joy. Where is the Globe?

Dilen: I Promise to give it to you tomorrow morning.

Mr Rone: Pray for your statement not to be an error. If I don’t get my Globe, then only the ghost will attend the wedding.

Dilen: I have no reason to betray you. I love Rhoda more than any creature in this planet. Mr Rone you must learn to believe me on that one.

Mr Rone: Make sure that I get my present before you get yours. Or else, all your dreams will be turned into nightmares.
