(One the same day, at the camp, the youth dominated church is praying, and they are all standing with their eyes closed. Only Samuelisiwe’s eyes are wide open, and with an awkward look on her face, she looks around. The pastor leading the prayer is the math teacher, and he is limping up and down while praying.)

Pastor: (Praying with the church synchronised behind him.) My past is gone, and all is new in Jesus’s name. I declare all my blessings in Jesus’s name.

(The Angel appears next to the pastor. Samukelisiwe sees him, but he is not aware of it. He is busy touching himself as the pastor repeatedly passes through him. Samukelisiwe gasp in shock and the Angel looks at her. They lock eyes, and she breaks the contact for a second to see if Thembani is seeing this. Thembani is next to her with his eyes closed in deep prayer. She then turns back to look at the Angel, and the Angel looms in front of her, causing her to jerk back. The Angel is studying her like she is an alien. Her eyes are wide open, and they are following the examining face of the Angel.)

Angel: You can see me?

Samukelisiwe: (Speaking in a freaked out voice.) Yes, I can see you.

(The whole church becomes quiet and awkwardly looks at Samukelisiwe.)

Samukelisiwe: (Speaking in a nervous and awkward voice.) Ye … s I … see you, devil

Angel: Devil?

Samukelisiwe: I see you devil, in the name of Jesus.

Angel: That is quite funny because I was sent by him.

(The church members then slowly continue with their prayer.)

Tell us: Why do you think Samukelisiwe can see the Angel?
