Lesedi was the prettiest girl in her school. Each and every boy admired her because of her beauty.

One morning she was at her mother’s place when her mother told her that she mustn’t date any boy from her school. Well, she took her mother’s advice. She became a healthy and successful young girl until bad things came into her life.

One day when she was on her way to school, she met a boy by the name of Jackie. Lesedi fell in love with Jackie, because he was successful and good looking. What she didn’t know about him was that he had impregnated many girls back where he came from.

Jackie told Lesedi that he loved her more than anything on Earth but in his heart he knew that he was lying. All that he wanted was to use her and throw her away like chewing gum. Foolishly, Lesedi believed him and they started dating. Jackie treated Lesedi like a queen because he wanted something from her. Lesedi’s mother told her to stay away from Jackie but Lesedi denied everything, and said to her mother, “Mom, your time has passed so just let me enjoy mine.”

“One day you will remember my words,” her mother warned. Lesedi wasn’t even listening to her mother because she was busy chatting with Jackie.

Days of disappointment approached her. One day she was out with Jackie when he drugged and raped her. Then he fled! She woke up the following day and tried to contact him but he was nowhere to be found. She became worried and said to herself, “All those days, I was contacting him by this number, now it’s taking me to voicemail, what’s going on?”

She went to her mother crying and when she got there, she told her mother that Jackie had left her all alone. Her mother looked at her and said, “Didn’t I tell you to stay away from him?”

After saying those words, Lesedi started to vomit. Her mother looked at her and told her that she was pregnant, but Lesedi denied and said, “Mom, I didn’t sleep with anybody.”

Her mother took her to the clinic and Lesedi found out that she was pregnant. She started to regret it all so that she even cursed the day she met Jackie, but still the bad words that she said about him didn’t matter because they didn’t undo the pregnancy. The thing that hurt her most was that her mother told her to stay away from him and she refused.
