According to Wikipedia, Nature, in the broadest sense, is the natural, physical material or universe. Nature can refer to the phenomena of the physical world, and also to life in general. Ruled by Mother Earth, she stands alone. A world feared by mankind. A land of our origin. A land deserted by its own. A land where peace exists. A land where you can find yourself. Pitter patter. One by one. Tears of the sorrowful cloud touched my skin.

One would run to find shelter. Drip drop nature rid me of my pain. Something came to me. Flashbacks…When last did I feel the love of our beloved mother? When last did she replace my rage with peace? The sounds of nature appease my soul. The singing of birds as they fly to find shelter from the rain. The rattling of leaves on trees as they flow along with the soft wind. The rattling of bushes as the tiny animals run to find shelter. Shhh, the soothing sounds of the flowing river say.

Soon the lovely sun appeared amongst the greyish sorrowful clouds. More joy it brought to the forest as the sun lightly kissed my skin. The frowning dripping leaves gave a smile once more. At last, the animal community showed his face. A smile could be seen on his face as he rejoiced, for his beloved mother had brought him more to drink. Joy flowed out of his mouth—the chirpings, the roars, and the bellows made a beautiful harmonious song.

I could almost hear him say, “Thank you, beloved Mother. Thank you, Mother Earth.” Boom, boom, boom—the stomping sounds of the animal community, I heard, as they led the song in a tone of satisfaction. The rattling of forest leaves joined the band. The harmonious rhythm it created led my soul to ease.

Oh! Mother Nature, why are you so feared? Why so despised? Mischievous yet so vulnerable. Oh! beloved mother. So delicate. So beautiful. Only the blind are unable to see your beauty, your patience, your delicacy, the sense of adventure you bring to one’s soul.
