Life never prepares you for anything, it is hard to comprehend, hard to define and hard to live.
Growing is seeing they say, I say growing is learning. Life brings you life lessons every second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year. You keep on learning things you never knew you would experience because we learn by experiencing things first. Some learn the hard way, some the easiest.
In friendships we learn, in relationships we learn, at home we learn, in the streets we learn, we learn everywhere and we all learn the same things, but with different experiences, or some have the same ones with a slight difference or they could be congruent. See, the thing with lessons is, you need to carry them throughout your whole life, as heavy as they may be. Yes, some lessons are hard to carry because, like I said, some learn the hard way.
Killing someone by mistake, that could be a lesson to someone, but it so happened they learnt it the hard way, but they will now know never to let their emotions get the better of them. They will know that emotional intelligence is very important, especially when you are arguing with someone. There are many lessons you could learn if you ever experienced this.
Some get lessons in friendships, they get to experience being friends with toxic people, unworthy people, and some call them ill friends. I learnt a lot from having those kinds of friends; at first I did not know, but as time went on I saw what kind of people I should hang around with and those that I should not. Sharing too much with your friends is never a good idea because when that friendship ends, He only knows what is going to go down, secrets are going to be spilled, hun.
Growing is seeing, growing is learning. You are not always going to get it right, sometimes you are going to make mistakes and it is perfectly OK because it is going to benefit you in the near future. Feeling sorry for yourself is completely absurd. It was meant to happen, now it is up to you if you learn so you don’t repeat the same mistake over and over again. Learn from your mistakes.
