To live is to die
Not once but many times.
Since you have one life to live
You must surrender and give
As much breath as you take.
O! What is love?
A redeeming keel for the drowning?
A responsive moon to the howling?

I need to sail back home
And no longer away
From all that I cannot atone
For that will always remain the same,
But I who has now grown.

Mother embraces me and all my grey
Areas of discomfort disappear
She lets all her love unfold
As she intercedes on my behalf on this sweet day
I lay my head unto her bosom, with her heartbeat tuning in my ear.

Blessed are those who hear her pray,
They will be fulfilled and not wail,
Yield life! And gush water from a stone.
