But to me it was a race 
in thorns and knifes 
among the blind and deaf, the women and men.
To me? It took more than just a leap of faith 
it took my courage, confidence; my soul 
drowning in my own tears 
chained to your projected fears 
yet nowhere still 
no existence 
If “a leap of faith” 
is the seed 
and it still doesn’t grow,
where did I go wrong? 
how did I get lost?
Torn in two 
Death spikes 
Soldiers are falling 
Refusing the war 
ending their battles 
so please don’t hit me with
