I am from Verulam, a small town in Durban. I am 20 years old and have been writing for 5 years now. I am a student at the University of KwaZulu Natal, doing my second year in Social Sciences, specializing in Anthropology and Sociology.
I am particularly interested in human behaviour especially in areas surrounding death, grief, depression, and anxiety. I write about these experiences but my creative pieces are based on my own experiences. I also explore other areas of the human experience although those are not of particular interest to me.
I grew up in a humble home before my parents separated, there was a lot of violence and emotional instability but eventually, things got better.
Currently doing my best to unlearn a lot of things and find therapy in writing. I also own a Facebook page called Stories From the Extreme Teens Heart, where I share my views on issues like Gender-based violence and abuse.
I’m also a feminist, and quite vocal about women’s rights and embarking on a journey to establish a society where social stratification is not based on gender and patriarchy.
