I am Setjhaba. My name says it all, I am not bipolar but multipolar. There is a nation in me, hence I don’t feel alone whenever I am by myself. I am diverse like that.
My most favourite music genres are Reggae, Soul and Jazz. I lead a rather bookish lifestyle, I can’t do without reading and writing as I believe that those are my therapeutic activities.
Currently I am between jobs as a corporate journalist. I am still trying to establish myself as a professional writer, because that’s what I want to be known for, writing!
The authors that inspires me are plenty but here is just a few: Edgar Alan Poe, Stephen King, Ngugi Wa Thiongo, Walter Rodney, Frantz Fanon, Dan Brown, Bessie Head, Fred Khumalo, Danielle Steel, Wole Soyinka, Naguib Mahfouz, Chimamanda Adichie Ngozi, Marcus Aurelius, Ernest Hemingway, Michel De Montaigne, Plato, Aristotle, Homer, Virgil, Nadine Godimer, Nat Nakasa, Chinua Achebe and last but definitely not least the master of suspense Sir Sidney Sheldon.
