Njabulo Innocent Shongwe was born in Paulpietersburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He matriculated at the age of seventeen in 2012, where his interested in writing was encouraged by his English at Abaqulusi High School. After grade 12, he decided to start publishing his essays with FunDza to improve his writing skills.
“Love Never Ends”, was his first short story, that was published by Ccover2Cover Bbooks. It appears in the anthology It Takes Two! Volume 3 and was in the Tribune newspaper for the Valentine’s Day Special. He worked with Dianne Stewart, his mentor, to make the story successful, and he was selected by Tshienda Publications for their Anthology called New Dawn and his story, “Tree of Love” is in the Anthology.
