I am a fourth year medical student and creative writer from Nigeria. I love reading and watching movies. When I am not doing both, I am passionate about African literature and mental health issues that affect the youth.
I became a writer for FunDza when I came across a competition FunDza organized. I started reading when I was quite young, and authors like Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, Flora Nwapa and Buchi Emecheta inspired me. They made me believe that I could send a message as a writer. Writing for me is therapeutic, a way to heal. It has helped me express myself in the best way I can.
Words of Inspiration I live best by: “Try again and again.” I believe that failure makes one better, and ready for success. Repeated attempts and determination to succeed will get you to your destination.
