I was born on 14-02-1992 in Mount Frere, Eastern Cape. I grew up in a family of five. Me, my mother and my three siblings – two girls and one little boy. Growing up I loved to run but I always knew that I wanted to be a writer.
I attended school in Zigadini J.S.S for seven years. I passed my grade 9 there and attended secondary school in Sonqishe S.S.S. I did a course in Business Management after passing my matric but I didn’t finish because I didn’t have enough money. In 2014 I got a job in Johannesburg as an assistant welder. By that time I had already started writing my stories.
After my contract ended I went back home to seek other opportunities. I did a course at Permaculture. It was a big opportunity for me because I ended up in Berlin with a project called YouUbuntu – a cultural exchange for youth about sustainability. This inspired me a lot and reminded me that I must do what I was born to do – I must write.
