Knock knock ….She stood at the door of one the homes in Zimbali
Thandiwe was home alone , Allofit had gone out , it’s been 2 days since her and Nothando spoke , so she walked to the door lazily thinking of who might be disturbing her on her day off…
“Nothando,” she said startled “…how do you know where I live ?”
“That’s not important can we talk she answered whilst letting herself in ..Thandiwe ndakcela ndive” ( please Listern to me ) ,she starts talking..
“I know I haven’t been the perfect person for you but I care about you and I’m sorry it took me so long to realise your all I need in my life ,we share a special connection,your my best friend, please don’t destroy a beautiful thing give me ..us a chance.”
Thandiwe opened her mouth to speak but Nothando got closer and placed her index finger on Thandiwe’s lips and whispered shhhh!
She then placed a soft kiss on her lips , Thandiwe was lost in the kiss ,her hands immediately ran to Nothando’s face … during the kiss she remembered when they shared their first kiss at the coffee shop in vasity 8 years ago , beautiful as this , after a minute the two finally split ,and Allofit walked in on them since the door was open..

“So you finally decided to do the right thing ” he says to Nothando,whilst she lets out a shy smile and looks at him , the last time she saw him he was really skinny and dark but now he represents femininity on a whole new level.
“I’m sorry ,”Nothando says as Allofit leaves the room

“Does that by any chance mean I’m forgiven perhaps?”
“Don’t push it ! ,” Thandiwe snaps

“Nothando, I’m being serious I haven’t felt like this ever since you left , you bring out a good side in me and I like that ……iloveyou !”
“Huh” , Nothando asked confused
“I love you ,” Thandiwe repeats ,slower this time
Nothando reached for Thandiwe’s hands ,held them tight and smiled
“I love you too …”
