“Why didn’t you look at me?”

I let out a shaky breath. He is so close to me and waiting for my response. I fiddle with my fingers and look down. He roughly grabs my chin and forces me to look at him. He was mad, Damn, does this dude have mental issues or something?

“Pack your stuff….you’re leaving with me tomorrow morning”

He says as he turns around and leaves.

“What?!! I’m not going anywhere with you! You could go to hell for all I care!”

“Very well then, I’ll do things myself” Is all he says.

He leaves my room without looking back. I let my tears fall, as I stand up and run to my parents room. I jump in between them and just let my emotions out. I was angry, sad, hurt, and afraid.

“What’s wrong baby? Why you crying? Who hurt you?” My mother asks me.

At this point they were both concerned.

“He’s my mate mom….Alpha Caleb is my mate!!”

“Oh baby” She holds me tighter while my dad rubs my back.

They always thought my mate would have been someone in our pack. If it happened like that, then I wouldn’t have to leave their side. Both her youngest and oldest daughter were now leaving her.

“I don’t wanna go dad….please let him leave me alone”

I say as I look to my father.

“I don’t wanna go mom. Mom please do something”

I begged as I held on to my mother tight. I was sobbing uncontrollably.

“I’m sorry honey…there is nothing me or your father can do to help you and Tatum. Remember he is one of the most feared alphas for a reason” My mom tells me.

“If we decide to do anything to stop him, he will kill us all and still take you. You wouldn’t want your parents dead, right?” My father adds.

“But I don’t wanna leave”

My dad sighs heavily.

“I’ll see if we can visit you at least twice a week. Okay”

All I could do was knod. I guess I have no choice but to go with my mate.

I couldn’t believe that this was my last night with my parents and my family. When the sun rises I’m leaving, I’m leaving my pack and the people that I love the most.

Just then the door opens and in walks Tatum. She spots me in between my parents, she gets in too. She has also been crying. If we leave,my family will feel incomplete without our pack and our parents.

They say that the moon goddess doesn’t pair you up with someone for no reason. They say that there is a reason for everything she does. Everyone has their own destiny.

My question is why pair me up with someone like him?
