That Thursday Kourtney’s stepfather’s brother, who was also the boyfriend of Chad’s sister, came to their house and revealed the relationship between Kourtney and Chad. Kourtney was shattered as she knew she would have to give up on her love. She went to Jolene and couldn’t stop her tears from escaping from her eyes. “Jou probleem is darem nie so erg nie. Later that night instead of studying for her big Maths test, Kourtney cried continuously. She was hurt. She studied at school for the first time.

That Sunday Kourtney used her sister’s cellphone without her knowledge and messaged Chad. She asked him to meet her after church. Little did she know that he would go to church just to see her. When she arrived there she saw him sitting in the chair and he immediately indicate for her to sit next to him. She felt so special to see that he had made an effort for her.

She then turned back again and saw him staring at her. She asked “Was jy loyal aan my?” and he said “Ja, van die begin af”.
