I smiled I could feel I was in pain almost everywhere Cait went out to get water soon I heard 3 voices outside the door it was those of Chris and Cait I couldn’t recognize the last one but I was certain it was the doctor soon they made their way in I looked over at Chris and his face was red as if he had been crying . Cait came in and took my hand just before the doctor could speak.
“Ms Kyle ,I’m sorry to tell you that due to your fall you had internal bleeding we tried our best to stop it but not until it was too late for your baby , I’m sorry we couldn’t save your save your pregnancy without saving you.”
I couldn’t believe what I heard I squeezed Cait’s hand tight.
“Doc wait, what you gotta be joking right I was pregnant? Are you sure ?”
The doctor looked confuse. “Yes Ms Kyle you were almost at the end of your first trimester, did you not know?”
I didn’t reply I looked at Chris with tears in my eyes he looked at me with tears to before walking out.
“Cait I was pregnant where’s my baby Cait can I see my baby…”
The doc recommended Cait leave and called in some nurses immediately. I cried out so loud for my to see my baby Cait refused to leave my side.
