“Hey mama, I’ve been looking for you oh. Why did you not call me? I want my money.. Heee Chineke. Is this where you live oh? You have a beautiful house but you can’t pay a taxi faire. I want my money now” said an angry Nigerian driver.

“OH God, who called you?” Prudy asked.

“I did, oh wait.. So you owe him? When did you hire him”? Kopano asked.

“It doesn’t matter, please pay him. I’m broke, I’ll pay you back I promise” Prudy pleaded with Kopano.

“Pay me now now, or else I won’t take your stuff” the furious Nigerian driver said.

“I’ll do EFT, give me your banking details” Kopano said.

“Where is she going?” the driver asked.

“I don’t know and I don’t care” Kopano replied.

“Oh my God oh, chineke. The drama in this house oh” the driver said.

While Kopano was doing electronic payments, Prudy pleaded with him to atleast transfer her money so that she can book in a hotel or B& B until she gets on her feet.

“No, I won’t do any of that unfortunately. You’re on your own” Kopano said.

Prudy looked at Peace, whom she thought he was gonna help her. Peace just shaked his head and looked away.

In about 5 minutes, there was a sound of a rushing car coming their way, yes it was coming to Kopano’s house. The driver stopped in front of the gate and stormed out of the car. He looked furious.

“Where is she? Mavis? Mavis?” the guy called out.

“What do you want? And who are you?” Peace asked.

“I’m looking for Mavis. I know she stays here. She can’t take me for a fool” the guy called out.

When everyone were surprised and wondering who the guy is talking about, Prudy got out of the house with her favourite cup Peace once bought it for her on mother’s day. She suddenly dropped it when she sees trouble coming her way. She tried to go back to the house when the angry guy called her.

“Mavis? Mavis? Where do you think you’re going?” the guy called her.

Kopano directed Prudy to come back only by his look, Prudy could see that he is fuming, burning and once he talks, heat will come out of his mouth. He took a chair and sat down, waiting for the drama to unfolds.
