10 minutes later

The doctor came back. With the envelope he had earlier on when he announces the pregnancy results.

“Okay let’s continue, Peace you’re a 100% match. Congratulations, at least your father won’t be on the waiting list” Doctor said.

“Wow, I don’t know if I still want to donate. I mean I hardly know the man. Okay I know him but not that much. What if he runs and never comes back? What if he run away with my kidney?” Peace asked, not sure of what to do or how to feel.

“you know what, go home and sleep over it. No one is forcing you to do it. Now I’ll see you when you have decided. Good luck” the doctor said, leading them out as he was going to attend other patients.

“So what do we do now that I’m a match?” Peace asked.

“Nothing, that man isn’t your father. Your father is Kopano. Let him die” Prudy said.

“What? Are you seriously gonna talk like that as if you never loved him? Honestly mom, all this time I was defending you when people were telling me of how evil you are. Today I’ve seen it all. You’re not my mother. Bantle let’s go see dad” Peace said.

“I gave birth to you, there’s no way I can’t be your mother. When you’re done sulking, you’ll find me outside waiting to take you home” Prudy said.

“I’m not going with you guys. Bantle and I will drive to my apartment. I don’t wanna find you there” Peace said.

Peace and Bantle went to see their father. Or should I say Bantle’s father? Well, they got there and they found him calm and sleepy.

“Dad, how are you feeling? I’m sorry that we only came now. We were still busy with tests” Bantle said.

“It’s okay. How did it go? Is Peace a match?” Kopano asked.

“Yes he is dad but he is not sure if he wants to donate part of him to that stranger” Bantle said.

Kopano looked at Peace.

“I think I should give you guys space” Peace said, excusing himself.

“No son, come here. You’re still my child and I’m your father. It doesn’t matter if your blood father is here, what matters is that you keep him alive so that you can get to know him better before it’s too late” Kopano said.

“Are you saying I should donate to him?” Peace asked, not sure if he understood.

“Yes.. I mean why not? Do you wanna live your life with regrets? Knowing very well that you had a change to save your real father and never used it? Is that what you want? Trust me my boy, I’ve been living with that conscious after leaving Jess and Bantle” Kopano said.

“Okay dad, I hear you. Thank you very much. I needed that” Peace said.

“Now you have 2 dads, how cool is that? Anyway.. Dad.. We Have something to tell you” Bantle said, shyness was all over her face.

“I know that look, what have you done?” Kopano asked.

“So, apparently I’m pregnant” Bantle said.

“What? You’re what?” Kopano asked, very shocked.

“it’s the truth dad” Peace added.

“Please don’t be disappointed, I’ll still continue with my studies” Bantle said.

“Don’t worry, it doesn’t matter now. What matters is that I will have a grandson. Or maybe granddaughter. I can’t say I’m not disappointed but I know what you have been through, you and Peace. As long as this will not get in between your relationship. Now that Peace is not your brother, I am so relieved that you don’t have to go to the process of getting a divorce. I’m happy that the truth is out now. Now you can live happily ever after” Kopano said.

“Oh dad, thank you so much” Bantle said.

“And son, please take care of her” Kopano said.

“Thank you dad, for your support. I promise I’ll take care of her” Peace said. They said their goodbyes and Peace and Bantle left the hospital.
