CHAPTER 2
” You wrote about me and you met me in real…. What did you like about me?” he asked , smirking.
” Your cat eyes and sexy lips,” she chuckled .
Chang-Sun and Chichi sat on the bed closely. He could smell her vanilla scent on her body and he touched his mouth. Chichi smiled in her sleep as she thought about how tender Chang was. She kept her eyes tightly closed to continue her memories.
” Only that?” he snorted.
” The way you wiggle your body,” she laughed and ran off the bed to the door. She mimicked how he wiggle his body and he pointed at her, giggling.
She ran around the apartment which was three roomed: a bedroom , kitchen and lounge.
” Serious… I will catch you. I wiggle like a snake?” he jumped from the bed ,playfully and followed her.
Chichi loved being playful with him. It brought joy to her heart. She wished he would talk about their future. Staying together had nothing to do with future. Chang-Sun was relucant that he wouldn’t ler her know his sister or even know his relatives.
” I ‘m tired! Please can I sit?”she pleaded and slomped on the sofa.
” I want to squeeze you like a orange and make juice ,”he jumped on her and hold her tightly.
Chichi screamed playfully then their eyes met. Eye to eye and mouth to mouth joined.
” Promise you won’t write more about us,” he sounded serious.
Her eyes opened wide , questioning him with no words spoken.
” You are a writer,I know ! Please don’t ,” he titled his head and looked straight in her eyes.
” I can’t,” she laughed and turned but he pulled her face with his hands.
Chichi didn’t feel safe because his facial expressions were serious . He didn’t want her to write? She thought ! He had threatening eyes.
” Okay,” she agreed because she wanted him to let her go.
” I was your crush?” he quired
She nodded , her mind was swaying with thoughts .She couldn’t forget how threatening he was. She realized he was changing the subject.
” What did you feel?” he helped her sit and put his hands on her chest.
” Goosebumps…I felt weak when you kissed on the screen . I wanted you to hold me and kiss me,” she smiled and rolled her eyes. Her arms hugged herself.
” And now?”he questioned her.
” Magnetic and heavenly,” she replied and he busted in laughter.
“Am I crazy?” she jumped
” Baby …look I love you… I enjoy being with you. I learnt to love you,” he sounded like there was a but.
” I slept with someone else while we were together . I aren’t sure whom I wanted to be with,” he sat on his own.
‘ What?’ she was puzzled .
Fumes formed in her but she hold it. She had been in a relationship with him for a year. His words repeated in her head like she was looking for clues.
Suddenly she woke up and realized it was a dream. But the dream was a reminder of what happened a month ago. How could he be a spoiler? She thought and smacked her head roughly.
” He never loved me”
In order to forget about Chang , she started to look for countries to visit. She couldn’t be in Korea anymore . She was there for him only. She wished she never made a move on him . But she still loved him that she kept checking her phone.
She realized she need a job. One afternoon on a chilly day,she was indoor and saw a post of a job but in China. She thought hard to take the offer but she was scared.
” I once married a chinese . That man was abusive and they don’t think , ” Samantha, her former classmate words rang in her ears.
She was trying to warn her when she suggest get a Asian liver.
” What if I find a abusive boss?” she whispered to herself and there was a knock.
” You need to pay up for the week stay,” the manager of motel demanded.
” I will settle it today,” she sighed .
She searched through her bags and checked her bank balance and sighed.
‘ I need this job… I better apply,’she thought she had no option.
She quickly transferred the money she owed to to motel bank account.Her stomach growled and she had to buy food. She took a 20 dollar and raced to the open stall markets. She brought prawn noodles and a quarter chicken. Her eyes looked at the food displayed on the warmer she used to eat. The octopus was crispy and then it reminded her of Chang and she didn’t have much to pay for such food.
She raced back to her room . Her phone alerted.

She ate happily and the meal made her full like she ate a gallop of noodles. She began to pack up . How many hours to China? She thought and made plans in her mind . She googled it and smiled.
” Less than 2 hours”
