The cold wind is blowing outside like a young boy’s whistle
The grass is brown and frozen by the snow
The trees are empty cause the wind blew away their leaves
The flowers are shapeless and died
The sky is clear with no clouds
The sun is shining but not as hot as on a summer’s day
It is so quiet outside like there is no one alive
The only thing you see is the sheep walking around with their baby lamps,
The hen moving around the yard from one place to another followed by its chicks,
Digging the cold iced soil looking for worms to feed its chicks
Then again, you will now see this one man passing by the road,
Looking so cold and shivering
Rubbing his hands to warm himself
Wearing a very long fur coat,
Steam blowing from his mouth as if he is smoking a cigarette
That cold wind keeps on pushing him forward
Now that’s a winter morning!
