Teenagers of Today by Bushula Akhona Snazo Alicia

You glow , I grow

I learn , you succeed

With my dusty rusty hair , you on Peruvians knocking your thighs

Your front left seat in one’s success

I drowning in fear of ties breaking trying to pull the future

But because you never knew the value of hard work

You die old living in the age of a teen , you’re eighteen

You earn life living in infections , I accept affections of deep anxiety

It ain’t sad cause you succeed but I learned.
