Look at me when I talk,
When I command your attention & fear
Look straight into the depths of my eyes
So that I can pull you into the living hell that is my soul
Give me all of you, warts and all
Even that tiny piece that cowers,
the one that trembles in terror
and hides, shrivelled, in the dark corner
Don’t call for help; there’s not one person here, to listen to your plight,
your desperate call for salvation
as you turn into nothing but a memory,
a reflection of what you once were
Look at me when I speak
And watch me finish what you started.
