It was never a coincidence,
But I regard it as a godsend,
When I first met her…
It was at the workplace.
We both had joined the committee for the first time…
Colleagues were how we addressed each other.
There was that forceful relation maturing within me,
An attraction that gradually pushed me to her,
So I tried to get to know her better…
but it was not that easy…
That’s what I thought to myself by then.
But I had a fondness for her…
A special relationship that couldn’t easily initiate back then.
But I made sure I tried anyway…
Each and every morning I would greet her.
But still, it was hard to befriend her,
She is the kind that isn’t into babbling,
But cool, calm and collected.
When I try to talk to her,
Just to initiate a small conversation with the intention to get closer to her,
She would reply slowly,
Her qualities mistakenly made me think otherwise
I thought she didn’t want to talk to me,
until I observed and understood her nature.
until I observed and understood her nature.
I figured out she is not talkative.
Her character is so unique.
A day wouldn’t pass by without trying to talk to her.
She’s a self-desciplined soul,
A rare breed kind that I’ve never met in my life before.
But it was never a coincidence to have finally met such an amazing person.
Anyone could tell by seeing her that she’s got that thing,
A unique trait that actually discloses her uniqueness.
You wouldn’t find her talking when the conversation is not related to work.
She always adheres to what she’s asked to do.
She is a joyful person
I have never seen her sad.
She’s always smiling like an angel from heaven.
Her heart is pure.
She’s kind and loving.
Her passion is writing and reading.
She gave me hope when I had none.
She encouraged me to write and read.
I’ve never met anyone so encouraging just like her.
Working with her is such a blessing.
An incredible blessing that made me realise my talent,
My passion for writing as well.
If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have figured out how to navigate through my emotion,
I would have shone the light in a closet where my talent for creative writing was concealed all along.
But with her help, I have revealed my love for creative writing.
People like her are scarce nowadays.
