School is fun
Until the maths Period come
The chalkboard full
Of x and y
And you don’t even understand why
We are solving the y
The teacher will be explaining something
The more she does
The more I get confused
And then she would shout, “understood”
And all I would say is, “yes”
As if I understood
The joy I get
When I understand
A topic in maths
It is unexplainable
How easy I feel it is
