You know

I’d never take life for granted

After all we could be alive now

and later be lifeless

With you I learnt

 to always

live in the moment

Because one minute you’re

living your best life

The next you want to end it.

Take a piece of my love

Don’t act too tough for it

Because it will be with you always

Unlike Yours, temporary and troubling

Humans say

love is like a drug,

its either you produce it or consume it

You were my dealer

and I the consumer

Yet its ironic how our

 connection consumed me

In the end

My teared terrified soul

serve as the profit you made

from the drug you sold me called Love.

Or should I say the illusion of love…
