The great city of loneliness has accepted me.
I can no longer hear myself.
I can no longer be myself.
My hands are useless.
My ears are deaf.
My feet are so lazy; I feel like going nowhere.
My problems are never-ending.
What has become of me?
Is this the start of my greatest fear?
My body is leaking.
It’s my mouth that must be lying now.
My day starts when it gets dark,
When darkness becomes my friend.
