To those oblivious of pain,
the term “to leave” resembles “love”.
The brokenhearted cry in shame;
they send their tears to God above.

The saddened women hold their heads
with children clinging to their arms.
There’s bitter wailing in their beds,
but mind their tears—they mean no harm.

The victims of injustice weep,
and they’ve forgotten how to smile.
Despite where there is love to keep,
their fragile hearts have been beguiled.

The adolescents- they do search
with hopes to find a stable home,
yet many lives they will besmirch
while they will roam the streets alone.

Jehovah’s kingdom will arrive
and each of them will go back home.
