Meeting a smiling strange’s face
Yet looking too familiar
Just like an old friend
Yet no name to suit
No dangling name
Nor a thread of memory
To spark some light or –
Strengthening a frailing smile
Familiar face concealed identity
Sometimes friends we forget
Trying to remember to no avail
Timid smile, shame concealed
In shamefulness keeping composure
The passed moment a breathe too deep
Searching for some hint
No thread of a memory
