You laughed with me

Smiled with me

We had the best days of our lives

Till you lied to me

You shyed away from me

Every word that come out your mouth

made me question everyone around me

You showed up

But you turned sideways too

I never really understood your secretive life

That’s not what best friends do

But I thank you for the times we had

It was fun

But our flame of friendship has burnt out

There’s nothing I wanna do more than shout

But I’ll be wasting my breath

For it has a better purpose then for it to be

Wasted on a person who has now zero value in my life.

So dear ex best friend I say goodbye.

IS MY LIFE WORTH LIVING FOR?

Its so sad to lose a friend... I've lost 2 close friends... Sometimes I feel like I'm the toxic friend. Sometimes I think I'm not for keeps. Get me? But its okay... we move

@Owami Cindi : Remember that we all have different personalities and we growing up in a world where change is happening on a daily. You are a strong, beautiful independent person. I am not saying end your friendship no, talk to her about how u feel. I'm sure she will understand. Don't let negativity get the best of you. Stay open minded. Much love ❤️

@From The Tree Tops, you staying in touch with your friend is a good thing, it just proves you don't hold any grudges. But remember sometimes certain arguments we have with friends just makes us realize where we stand with them. It's not easy and the situation we in ain't a comfortable one. Just allow yourself to move on.

@Owami Cindi: You are beautiful in your own way, and remember that the boys will come and go in your friend's life, but you have been there with her, and for her, for 4 years. Talk to her about it, let her know about the things that hurt you. Maybe she's not aware of just how hurt you are. In the meantime, learn to love yourself and self-care. You got this!🤗

Thank you for this offering, but I always wonder if we communicate with people upfront what is a deal breaker for us? I had a painful fallout with a childhood friend a few years ago, but we've stayed in touch, even though things are not the same and we no longer hang out. Also, are you able to forgive when you've been wronged or hurt? It's a thought-provoking piece. Thank you 🙏🏾

I also say goodbye to my ex best friend Sandisile Mokoena my everything we like did everything together and always holded hands in school until the Covid 19 pandemic we couldn't stop holding each other's hands so they always reprimanded us but our hands were intwined in some way we couldn't stop holding each other's hands we always walked hand in hand but now she's changed she likes boys like really likes boys.Since she was the beautiful one in our friendship all boys wanted her but she never wanted them but now we are in Gr.7 and she likes the attention boys give her I am so angry they putted us in the same class we have been friends for 4 years until Gr.6 she left me in the stairs standing alone and she went off with Nompumelelo her new best bad friend and I ran into the toilet to cry I still want her to be my friend now we look at each other in the class but we quickly look away then back again it's that thing I do what us to be friends again but now "Everything Happens For A Reason"! and I can see I haven't got a real friend i am a bit popular because of my cleverness so I have tons of FAKE friends
