When they ask you, you say you are okay
When you are around them, you act okay
When they look at you, they see you are okay
When you are in public, you look okay
Whenever you are around people, you are okay.
Now you are alone, in your room.
And you took off that masquerade; you are gloom
That fake facade you put for people faded
That smile you put for people faded
You are faced with your true feelings alone.
You are always okay around people
But you cry a river when there are no people
You always look happy
But unhappiness is dripping down your nappy
Behind closed doors, you are faced with your true self.
You are slowly falling into depression.
But you don’t realise it, and you abandon your passion
Your pillow is wet with your tears
To be alive and unhappy are your fears
So you want to end all this suffering?
Please get help
And stop this yelp
You can’t end your life
But it would help if you preserved your life
And take off that masquerade of you being BR(OK)EN.
