Wouldn’t it be nice to see
a world void of suffering, tears or pain?
Wouldn’t it be such a joy
to smile, to laugh, to love again?
Wouldn’t it be nice to have
a store of memories to keep?
A place where we can lay out heads
without a fear of where to sleep?

Wouldn’t it be nice to hear
the voice of birds, their lovely songs,
while throngs of children look above
astounded as they sing along?
Wouldn’t it be nice to know
they’ll never cry a painful tear,
as they prosper and they grow
forever through approaching years?

Wouldn’t it be such a joy
to see the ones we’ve lost in death
with youthful vigor once again
and thankfulness with every breath?
Wouldn’t it be nice to greet
the ones we’ve lost? We loved them so!
The pains for which they paid the cost
will be forgotten and joy will flow.

That is how the world will be:
Jehovah’s earthly paradise.
Wouldn’t you like to be there,
to see the future?
It would be nice!
