“So, how did it go?”. This question was getting old. I’ve answered it 9 times already, and as fun as my date was, people making it suck for me.

I went out with the girl of my dreams. Well she asked me out on a date. My first date ever. I still cannot believe my own body betrayed me. I stuttered and stumbled every 5 seconds after looking into her eyes. Those sweet brown beautiful eyes. Swear I got a glimpse to heaven. We went to the arcade. As dumb as it sounds, I actually got her childish side out.

For me that a big win, an also I kinda enjoyed watch her jump up and down whenever I let her win (discreetly so). After that she said to the movies. I was praying there weren’t any cringe moments, because when I cringe, I cringe for real. A whole 2 hours of watching the movie and eating snacks, and half of that I held her hand and stared into her eyes. Think I got lost in the trans her and there. COVID regulations suck, I could have cuddled with her the whole movie. And when that was done, we went out to eat. She knew some back street restaurant.

Very quiet, and the food they serve was to die for. The whole time I didn’t realize what I was talking about, but she laughed and laughed. It was like being controlled by someone who’s actually helping me win this lady. The most painful time was leaving. I walked her home. She didn’t live too far. As we walked, and sunset goldened the horizon, her eyes glowed. Her lips were so delectable. Her skin matched her eyes. I swear that moment, I knew inner peace.

She turned to me and said “for a guy I asked out, you didn’t disappoint. I’m happy I did or we’d have never met”. Her face closed the gap to mine, and our lips touched. My hands on her waist, mirroring the motion’s of our lips.

How the hell did a street smart chick end up her with a weeping nerd, I wondered while enjoying the embrace. She broke it off and said good bye before giving me one more hug, and a kiss. That is how it went down. Y’all ruining the date and moments for me. At least I’m gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight over a girl.
