Society is messed up, it’s so unfair! But life isn’t fair right? Right!

I hate that to the world I tend to be perceived as something completely different from who I am just because of my unconditional physical appearance.

The criticism and judgement is too loud to ignore, people would literally look at a person and immediately think so little of them based on how they look and what they’re wearing, nobody really cares about one’s content of character.

Only a few would speak to you when you pass by or walk in a room full of people and you would feel that it’s a sympathetic/ fake conversation like they first judged you and immediately felt guilty so they approach you just to ease their conscious because they realise their first perception of you is a result of society ‘s social I’ll standards based on either colourism, discrimination and classism etc.

Atleast they are trying to become better and to do better but the mere fact that it wasn’t purely genuine hurts so much, it doesn’t only hurt me, it’s a lot of people hurt by this societal phenomenon of being negatively received everywhere you go, wherever you are simply because you do not particularly fit societal physical appearance standards.

If you can, if you acknowledge the negative impact it has on others’ mental health, please stop judging people based on how they look, especially for their body features that they were born with, we can’t experience bullying as toddlers, teenagers and again as young adults?! It is destroying us. Please don’t judge me, it hurts.
