You need:
(to invite some friends over for tea)
Makes about a dozen scones
500g (2 cups) self-raising flour
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
250ml cream
250ml lemonade
1 punnet strawberries, sliced
Go for it:
Mix all the ingredients together and form 12 balls.
Pat out to 2½ centimetres thick.
Bake at 220°C for 12–15 minutes.
Cool and serve with butter, cream and strawberry jam.
