I will never understand why lecturers have to be so spiteful, why make us submit an assignment right after a long weekend. Not just any long weekend, but an Easter Weekend. I mean long weekends are never long enough. And one thing about them is that they are highly addictive, one can never have enough of them.

I didn’t go to school yesterday. I had an assignment to work on. I kept stalling it for a very long time, and thought I would do it on Saturday. Well, that was the initial plan until Sim told mom that he is not going with her to church.

She was disappointed. It was the first time in his life that he told mom no! I like that he is growing and can take decisions for himself, but I hate that it is all for the wrong reasons.

She decided to ask me, and I couldn’t disappoint her too. I became mom’s purse for a change. And I regret that I agreed to going with her coz on Sunday I was so tired I couldn’t even start on the assignment.

But at least now, I am done with my assignment. However, my assignment is late by one day, and that’s 5% less already. I’m so screwed.

Thanks mom.

I am definitely not looking forward to this day. It’s sure going to suck.
