So it’s that time of the year again. You know, the time when you hear many people say, “New year, me.”

It is very common to start a new year’s resolution on this day. This can be to give something up, like sweets or chocolate, so you can be healthier.

Example scenarios:

“This year is all about me. New year, new me!” you tell your friend close to the new year. This could suggest that you are going to make a change or start something new.

Perhaps you tell your parents, “I know I say the same thing every year, but this coming year is definitely going to be my year. New year, new me.”

Or picture yourself at a party. Your goal is to go out a little less in the new year to focus on other things, so you tell your friend, “I plan on making a change. I don’t want to party so much anymore, so watch this space. New year, new me,” you say, clinking glasses.

Whether or not you believe in the concept of “New year, new me”, I hope that your new year will be prosperous and filled with happiness. Happy New Year to all the Fundza fanz!
