It’s the beginning of a new week, and another week under lockdown. At FunDza, we care about you and your rights. Our government has sent the police and the army into communities in order to protect the health and promote the wellbeing of citizens. But sometimes individuals in the police or the army over-step the mark. Knowing and understanding how you can be a responsible citizen (by complying with the rules) but not allowing your rights to be abused is important.

READ this important article – Rights under lockdown – that explains your rights in the currently declared State of Disaster. There are also helpful links in Lockdown Live to how to get access to justice if you believe there is abuse by police or the army. And, remember, we are all in this together. So, we must act responsibly too.
