Fortunately, Nkosinathi completed his studies and became a medical doctor. He then built a big library in his community to honour his father’s wishes. Thabiso wanted every child to have a quiet place to study after school time. When Thabiso came out of prison, it was his dream to build a library one day but he never had any money to do so. Nkosinathi truly made his late father’s dream to come true.
The library was so helpful, especially to learners doing matric. They came to spend all night reading in the library and they got better results. After few years, Koko Letty died a natural death at the age of 88 years. Nkosinathi was married by then to a beautiful and loving wife, Grace, and they were blessed with two sons. Grace was a motivational speaker, a lawyer and businesswoman. She was also a woman who came from a broken home.
Her father was always drinking and beating her mother up, to a point that she would end up in hospital. Grace saw her mother being shot by her father, and then her father shot himself. Her own biological father raped her twice. She was seven years old when her father raped her for the first time, and nine years old the second. Her mother knew about the rape but never even protected her child because she was scared of losing her marriage. To her, being married to a rich man was something to brag about in the community.
Grace was 10 years old when her mother was killed by her father. Grace was an emotional child, always crying, even in class she would cry, especially when teachers would ask her to participate in school activities. She never wanted to play with other kids, especially boys. One of the teachers in her school managed to be patient with her and spoke to her. The teacher ended up adopting her.
Indeed God really can change and bless people. Who are we to judge others because of their sins? If God can forgive them and heal their broken hearts, who are we to change the will of God?
