The following morning, Molemo woke up, did her hygiene routine, and then went to the prophet. On the way, the taxi she was in almost had an accident, and she was thankful that that did not happen. When she arrived at the prophet’s house, she suddenly had a massive headache and felt dizzy, and after a few moments, she collapsed.

A few moments later, a woman who had come outside to water her flowers saw her at the gate and immediately rushed to help her. She tried waking her up, but Molemo did not wake up, so she carried her inside her house and placed her on the couch. After placing her there, she started praying for her, and after a few moments, Molemo woke up.

“What happened to me, where am I?” Molemo asked.

“Shhs, it is okay, you collapsed outside my gate, so I had to help you,” the woman responded.

“Oh, thank you so much,” Molemo said. “I take it you are the prophet?”

“Yes I am,” the woman responded. “Would you like some water?”

“Yes please,” Molemo responded. The woman then went to get her water, came back with it, and gave it to her. “Thank you,” Molemo said, and then drank her water.

“It is okay, can I ask you something?” the woman asked.

“Yes, you can ask,” Molemo responded.

“Why are you making your granny upset?” the woman asked.

“What did I do,” Molemo responded. “Wait, how did you know all this, because I have not said anything to you.”

“I have a precious gift, and the reason why you came to me was because you wanted to get answers, but in order for you to get them, we had to use my gift,” the woman responded. “Your granny is angry at you because you are not supposed to be here.”

“But I need help, and I need answers,” Molemo responded.

“Your kind is not welcome here,” the woman said.

“My kind?” Molemo asked, sounding shocked.

“If you need my help, you will need to take off that necklace, because that is the only way I can help you,” the woman responded.

With that, Molemo immediately took off her necklace. The woman then stared at her in her eyes, and after a long time, she told Molemo to follow her. They then walked to what seemed like the woman’s bedroom. The room looked beautiful, and it had pictures of two beautiful girls in it.

“Are these your kids?” Molemo said, breaking the silence.

“Yes they are,” the woman responded.

“They look very beautiful, where are they?” Molemo asked.

“That one lives in the suburbs. She is the CEO of the biggest hospital in the province,” the woman responded.

“The other one?” Molemo asked.

“She is, uhh … please take off your shoes, we need to go in there barefoot,” the woman said.

“But this is your bedroom, where are we going?” Molemo asked.

“Yes, this is my bedroom, but inside this room I have an ensuite bathroom which is not a bathroom, but a room for consultation for cases like yours,” the woman responded.

“That is so cool, you are so smart,” Molemo said. “But why would you build the room here?”

“You see Molemo, the room is not just a room for consultation. It has so much power inside of it that if everyone knew about it, I would be in danger,” the woman responded.

“Danger? How?” Molemo asked.

“You have so many questions, and the only way you can get the answers for them, because I am getting tired of answering them, is if you go inside the room,” the woman said.

“So, I am a little witch!” Molemo said. “How could my granny do this to me?”

“You were almost made one, that is if you had continued wearing the necklace, but you stopped in time,” the woman responded.

“I found it so hard to believe my mother, but now I know that she was being honest,” Molemo said.

“What you have just seen in the room right now is true, and I suggest that, from now on, you start praying,” the woman responded.

“But I thought I have all the answers, why would I need to pray?” Molemo asked.

“Do you remember what I said to you earlier when you arrived?” the woman asked in response.

“You said that my granny is upset with me,” Molemo responded.

“Yes,” the woman said. “You were not supposed to see what I have just shown you now, and she is now even more angry.”

“This is all so hard for me to take in,” Molemo said. “I cannot believe that I almost became a witch, and to think I used to look up to her. I feel like I never got to know the real her.”

“I know how hard it is to take in what you have just found out, but I hope you will get through this,” the woman responded.

“Thank you so much, Miss …” Molemo said.

“You can call me Mme Thembi,” the woman responded.

“Oh, Mme Thembi, so how is it going to be for this whole session?” Molemo asked.

“What I did was out of love …” the woman responded.
