Present Day…
Now Realeboha is stressed out. He tries tracing the mysterious lady who gave his daughter a book but comes out with nothing. He even goes back to Germiston where he was raised and goes to MaDlamini’s house, only to find burned walls and broken windows.

He asks around about MaDlamini and whether she had moved out.

“No, someone burned her alive,” the stranger tells Realeboha. “The police found a note that seemed to be torn out of a book,” now that catches Realeboha’s attention.

“What note? What did it say?” he asks sticking his head out of the car’s window that is parking at MaDlamini’s front gate.

“People said it was written something like revenge and the…cold…dish… I don’t know, something like that though,”

“Realeboha is driving the car but he’s not focused on the road. His mind is somewhere else.

“Could she be coming for me?” he is talking to himself in a car. “But why now? Why can’t she reveal herself. No no, God. I have paid for my sins and I have changed. Zandile can’t know, she’ll leave me instantly because what I have done is unforgivable,” he punches the steering wheel and the horn draws him back to life.

Back Then…

“I hate sloppy work. Damn it,” Lerato cursed. She came back from phase two of her vengeance mission. Her phase two featured Mpho as the main target. He knew that Aubuti R abused her and threatened Lerato not to say anything.

Mpho was too an easy target to eliminate. She had kept track of his schedule and realised that Mpho travelled a lot. So the strategy was to tamper with his car’s brakes and so she hacked the brakes system. On the freeway, Mpho was chased by two cars, trying to duck them, Mpho’s car rolled out of the way and crashed.

The phone rang and she picked it up and tapped answer button.

“Yes?” She was not in the mood, not after what happened last night. “Are you sure? OK… Keep me updated.”

She was just told by one of her goons that Mpho is beyond wreck. He couldn’t talk or breathe on his own at the moment.

She went to her bedroom and cleaned her guns. She was angry that Mpho was still alive. She wanted him dead. But since he was mute, she would move on to the final phase of her mission. After she finished phase three, she’d wrap up mission two. This one though, she got to do it by herself.

“R, the cold dish is about to be served, sir,” she laughed as she finished polishing the gun. It was shining as if it was a piece of art that was meant to be put as decoration not killing and hurting people.
