“My friend, I know the sun is already up but it’s still so early in the morning for you to be on your Game Station,” J said as he got out of bed.

“Oh J, you’re finally awake! I didn’t sleep, I finally finished the level that was giving us trouble.” T said ignoring what J had said.

“Wow T you’re a champion. But dude, why are you on your game all the time? Let’s go outside today to the park, it’s fun; we’ll get to see and meet new people,” J pleaded.

T continued with his game. He heard what J was saying about going outside and meeting new people, which was something he had not done for years. He had, according to him, everything he wanted inside the Mansion, from food to fancy gadgets and his own gym where he kept his body in good physical condition. There was someone, actually a robot, which helped with chores around the house, so T didn’t see a reason to go outside. He did not like a place with a crowd; he preferred to be by himself.

“J, do you see this perfect body in good physic and my soft light skin? How do you think I’ve maintained such a body? It’s cause I stay in and train and the sun doesn’t get to burn my skin like yours gets burnt every day,” T said, making fun if J. J got out of bed and took a joystick, preparing to play too with T and he grabbed a chair and sat next to him. As he sat, T noticed that his friend was full of smiles.

“And what got you all happy this morning?” T asked curiously.

“Dude, today is the day that the Government people will deliver one of those cool economically friendly houses that are air-conditioned. No more living in a hot shack with holes,” J said excitedly.

“Wow, congrats man. So the government really is serious about this whole equality thingy of theirs? Those houses don’t come cheap if you buy it from your own pocket,” T said shaking his head.

“Yeah I know, maybe soon we will be getting mansions like this for free,” he said jokingly.

“Haha…. Never dude. If that happens then we will also see some rain on that day, they wouldn’t even be able to make it portable – it’s too big,” T said as he punched the joystick.

“Haha… But you never know with the Super Scientists,” J said laughing. T frowned and paused the game. “What’s wrong? Why did you pause the game?” J asked concerned.

“Speaking of Super Scientists, I forgot to tell you today is the day that they will bring my brother back to life,” T said in a low voice. J looked at his friend and smiled.

“So you should be excited, I mean you’ve been telling me about this day for the past month,” exclaimed J.

“I’m excited, don’t get me wrong. But I also think about how I treated my brother before he got sick, I was never nice,” T said in a sad voice.

“Hey, don’t worry about that man. Siblings fight all the time, I mean look at me and my sister, we can’t stand each other but I love her very much and I know she does too.” J ensured T.

“Yeah, I know but I was the worst brother. I’m sure my brother died hating me. Anyway, let’s forget about that for now. Let’s continue with the game and wait for the knock at the door when the drones bring him here.” T said as he grabbed the joystick. He didn’t like to talk much about his feelings and J knew this.

“Damn it’s already 7 a.m. Look, I have to go, I promised my dad I’d be home by 7 to help him with moving stuff out of the shack to make space for the new house,” J exclaimed.

“Wow dude, just grab my scooter, I’m sure you can make great time. I’ll catch you later or we’ll catch you later,” T says excitedly.

“Thanks man, it will sure help,” J said as he headed outside.

As soon as J was gone, T switched off the game, he was very sleepy. He decided to go and take a nap.

As he lay down in bed he wondered what it would mean if the Super Scientists couldn’t bring his brother back to life. Did it mean he would not get the chance to show his brother how much he loved and missed him? And that he never meant all the horrible things he had said or done to him? As he got lost in thoughts, he finally fell asleep.
