“I remember my mom telling me that, in order for me to get better grades, I needed to go and repeat my MSCE form 4 class, mainly because I was unlucky during my 2017 results at Katoto Secondary School,” Andrew said. “She then told me to go and learn at Multicareear Secondary School.”

Before doing that, Andrew had only heard stories about the new school. For example, he was told that the school had a variety of entertainment options, and many other stories about the school. In the end, he went to the school, even though he was not excited about it.

The moment he stated school at Multicareer Secondary School, Andrew noticed that the stories he heard about it were not true. But after a few weeks, he found new friends and it soon became amazing.

One of Andrew’s closest friends at the school was Kelvin. They were desk mates, so they used to share a lot of stories about school and normal life. Most of the time, they shared stories about girls and how relationships went. At that time, Andrew was 17 years old, and he had never had a girl in his life before because he was afraid of talking to girls. In the desk right in front of theirs sat two twin sisters, Thoko and Thandi, and Kelvin liked Thandi.

“Man, which girl do you like in this classroom?” Kelvin asked Andrew.

“Mmm, wait let me show you,” Andrew responded. “Yes, that one,” he continued while pointing at Blessings. “Man, do you see her? The one in the first desk in front.”

“Yes man, I see her,” Kelvin responded. “She’s so cute. I think you should go and talk to her.”

“Mmm, not now,” Andrew said. “I need to see and know her first.”

“OK man,” Kelvin responded. “But do you see the one in front of us?”

“Yes, these twins?” Andrew responded.

“Yes, the one sitting on the left hand side,” Kelvin said. “I’m told she’s called Thandi.”

“Okay, so what are you going to do?” Andrew asked. “Should I tell her for you?”

“No bra!” Kelvin responded. “I’ll do it myself, although I’m afraid.”

“Okay, I think you should just write a note and I’ll give it to her,” Andrew said.

“Yes, I think that’s a good idea,” Kelvin responded. “You’ll give it to her during brake time. I’ll be out of the class at that time, okay?”

“Okay, I’ll do that for you,” Andrew said. “Write the note.”

After their conversation, Kelvin wrote the note and gave it to Andrew, who then Andrew took it to Thandi.

“Hey, how are you doing?” Andrew said to Thandi.

“I’m good and you?” Thandi responded.

“I’m okay,” Andrew said. “You know, this guy, Kelvin, sent me to give this to you.”

“Okay, let me take a look at it,” Thandi responded, shaking her head while looking at the note. “Ooohh noo.”

“So what should I tell him?” Andrew asked Thandi as soon as she was done reading the note.

“Nothing,” Thandi responded. “I’ll will tell him myself.”

“Okay,” Andrew said.
