Her bodyguard was a dweeb.
Oh, he was huge and everything. Apparently he was qualified in eight types of combat, including martial arts. Plus, he looked absolutely gorgeous in a stretch T-shirt.
But he was a dweeb.
It was frustrating the hell out of Tricia. When her father came up with this body guard idea Trish hated it. She’d tried to change her Daddy’s mind. He wouldn’t budge. Someone had already volunteered for the job and her father had already agreed.
That was how things happened for the Wilson’s. It seemed that everyone in the city was so desperate to be associated with them that they went out of their way to become either Wilson friends, or Wilson employees.
Tricia didn’t hate the idea any less, though.
Until she saw Ben-the-hot-bodyguard. Besides, there was something celebrity about having a bodyguard.
She was quickly changing her mind, however. For one thing, Ben was oblivious to her special charms. Tricia had done everything book in the book to seduce him. No results. She’d even tried everything that wasn’t in the book. Ben seemed completely immune.
For another thing, he acted strangely. Tricia would catch him staring at her with this inexplicable look in his eye, and then his face would go back to being stonily unreadable.
He was probably secretly in love with her or something, Trish thought.
“Stupid dimwit,” she said loudly enough for Ben to hear. He paid her no attention though. He just continued to stand there next to her, shadowing her every move.
Urgh! Complete, utter dweeb!

Really, the Wilson bitch was starting to amuse him.
A bodyguard? She thought getting her daddy to hire her a bodyguard would help her? She had another thing coming her way!
Here he was, in her house again. He was touching her, breathing the same air as her. He was in her bedroom.
He allowed himself to brush her hair back one more time as she slept. He wasn’t going to stay long. He’d just come to deliver the pink note. This time, he’d added a little personal touch to it.
FORGOT ABOUT ME, SHIA?
I’M STILL COMING FOR YOU
NEVER LET YOU GO.
